He left Part 6 (Gen 31:19-32)
19 Laban had
gone to shear his sheep, and Rachel stole her father's household gods.
To shear his sheep which he had given into the charge of his sons at a distance of three days’ journey between himself and Jacob.
And Rachel stole her father's household gods—Her intention was to wean her father from idol-worship (Bereishit Rabbah 74:5).
22 When it was told Laban on the third day that Jacob had fled,
On the third day—For there was a journey of three days between them.
And he set a distance of three days' journey between himself and Jacob, and Jacob pastured the rest of Laban's flock. GEN 30:36
23 he took his kinsmen with him and pursued him seven days’ journey and followed close after him into the hill country of Gilead.
His kinsmen—Lit., his brothers, his kinsmen.
Seven days’ journey—During all the three days during which the messenger had gone to tell Laban Jacob had proceeded on his journey. Consequently Jacob was then six days distance from Laban. On the seventh day i.e. on the day when Jacob covered that stretch of ground which made him seven days distant from Laban’s starting point Laban overtook him. We may infer, therefore, that all the distance that Jacob would have taken seven days to cover Laban covered in one day. And thus it states: “and pursued him seven days’ journey,” and it does not say “and pursued him seven days” (Bereishit Rabbah 74:6).
and said, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of my
master Abraham, who has not forsaken his steadfast love and his
faithfulness toward my master. As for me, the Lord has led me in the
way to the house of my master's kinsmen.” GEN

30 And now you have gone away because you longed greatly for your father's house, but why did you steal my gods?
You longed—It occurs many times in Scripture (Psa 84:3): “My soul longs, yes, yes, faints”; (Job 14:15) “You would long for the work of your hands.”
For I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the Lord. EXO 12:12
while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, whom the Lord had struck down among them. On their gods also the Lord executed judgments. NUM 33:4
32 “Anyone
with whom you find your gods shall not live. In the presence of our kinsmen
point out what I have that is yours,
and take it.” Now Jacob did not know
that Rachel had stolen them.

Shall not live—In consequence of this curse Rachel died on the journey (Bereishit Rabbah 74:9).
What I have that belongs to you.
Then Abram said to Lot, “Let there be no strife between you and me, and between your herdsmen and my herdsmen, for we are kinsmen.” GEN 13:8
and said, “I beg you, my brothers, do not act so wickedly.” GEN 19:7
So my honesty will answer for me later, when you come to look into my wages with you. Every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats and black among the lambs, if found with me, shall be counted stolen. GEN 30:33
So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, “Put away the foreign gods that are among you and purify yourselves and change your garments.” GEN 35:2
20 We take this course so that no one should blame us about this generous gift that is being administered by us,
21 for we aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord's sight but also in the sight of man. 2CO 8:20-21
17 Did I take advantage of you through any of those whom I sent to you?
18 I urged Titus to go, and sent the brother with him. Did Titus take advantage of you? Did we not act in the same spirit? Did we not take the same steps?
19 Have you been thinking all along that we have been defending ourselves to you? It is in the sight of God that we have been speaking in Christ, and all for your upbuilding, beloved. 2CO 12:17-19
