The life of Sarah Part 4 (Gen 24:29-36)
29 Rebekah had a brother whose name was Laban. Laban ran out toward the man, to the spring.
Laban ran—Why did he run and what did he run for? Now it came to pass, when he saw the ring—he said, “This must be a rich man,” and he had an eye to his money.
55 Her brother and her mother said, “Let the young woman remain with us a while, at least ten days; after that she may go.”
60 And they blessed Rebekah and said to her,
“Our sister, may
you become
thousands of ten
thousands,
and may your
offspring possess
the gate of those who hate
him!” GEN 24:55, 60
He said to them, “Do you know Laban the son of Nahor?” They said, “We know him.” GEN 29:5
32 So the man came to the house and unharnessed the camels, and gave straw and fodder to the camels, and there was water to wash his feet and the feet of the men who were with him.
And unharnessed the camels—He removed their muzzles, for he had closed their
mouths so that on the journey they might not graze in other peoples’ fields (Bereishit Rabbah 60:8).

33 Then food was set before him to eat. But he said, “I will not eat until I have said what I have to say.” He said, “Speak on.”
Until I have said—Here אִם serves as an expression of both אִשֶׁר and כּי, an example of the latter usage being (49:10) “Until tribute will come.” That is what our Sages, of blessed memory, have said (Rosh Hashanah 3a): The word כִּי is used in four meanings. One of these is אִי which is the Aramaic for the Hebrew אִם.
Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful on the ground that they are brothers; rather they must serve all the better since those who benefit by their good service are believers and beloved.
Teach and urge these things. 1TI 6:2
34 So he said, “I am Abraham's servant.”
Bava Kamma 92b:6
Rava said to Rabba bar
Mari: From where is this matter
derived whereby people say: If you are aware of a derogatory matter
that is found in you, say it first before others say it about you?
Rabba bar Mari said to him that the source is as it is written
with regard to Eliezer: “So he said, ‘I am Abraham's servant’ ” (Gen 24:34), immediately proclaiming
that he is a servant.
