10 Then the servant took ten of his master's camels and departed, taking all sorts of choice gifts from his master; and he arose and went to Mesopotamia to the city of Nahor.

Of his master's camels—These were distinguished from other camels by going out muzzled to avoid robbery—i.e. that they should not graze in other peoples’ fields (Bereishit Rabbah 59:11).

Taking all sorts of choice gifts from his master—He wrote a deed of gift of all his possessions in favour of Isaac so that they would be eager to send him their daughter (Bereishit Rabbah 59:11).

Mesopotamia—It was situated between two rivers.

Terah took Abram his son and Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram's wife, and they went forth together from Ur of the Chaldeans to go into the land of Canaan, but when they came to Haran, they settled there. GEN 11:31

And Abraham said to his servant, the oldest of his household, who had charge of all that he had, “Put your hand under my thigh, GEN 24:2

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice. Arise, flee to Laban my brother in Haran GEN 27:43

1 Then Jacob went on his journey and came to the land of the people of the east.

4 Jacob said to them, “My brothers, where do you come from?” They said, “We are from Haran.”

5 He said to them, “Do you know Laban the son of Nahor?” They said, “We know him.” GEN 29:1, 4-5

because they did not meet you with bread and with water on the way, when you came out of Egypt, and because they hired against you Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse you. DEU 23:5

12 And he said, “O Lord, God of my master Abraham, please grant me success today and show steadfast love to my master Abraham.

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.” GEN 15:1

7 And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.

8 And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God. GEN 17:7-8

and said, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken his steadfast love and his faithfulness toward my master. As for me, the Lord has led me in the way to the house of my master's kinsmen.” GEN 24:27

And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the God of Abraham your father. Fear not, for I am with you and will bless you and multiply your offspring for my servant Abraham's sake.” GEN 26:24

And you shall bring it to your father to eat, so that he may bless you before he dies. GEN 27:10

And behold, the Lord stood above it and said, “I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. The land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring.” GEN 28:13

If the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, had not been on my side, surely now you would have sent me away empty-handed. God saw my affliction and the labor of my hands and rebuked you last night. GEN 31:42

And Jacob said, “O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, O Lord who said to me, ‘Return to your country and to your kindred, that I may do you good,’ ” GEN 32:10

May God Almighty grant you mercy before the man, and may he send back your other brother and Benjamin. And as for me, if I am bereaved of my children, I am bereaved. GEN 43:14

29 Rebekah had a brother whose name was  Laban. Laban ran out toward the man, to the spring. Laban ran —Why did he run and what did he run for? Now it came to pass, when he saw the ring —he said, “This must be a rich man,” and he had an eye to his money. 55 Her brother and her mother said, “Let the young woman remain with us a while, at least ten days; after that she may go.” 60 And they blessed Rebekah and said to her, “Our sister, may you become thousands of ten thousands, and may your offspring possess the gate of those who hate him!” GEN 24:55, 60 He said to them, “Do you know Laban the son of Nahor?” They said, “We know him.” GEN 29:5 32 So the man came to the house and unharnessed the camels, and gave straw and fodder to the camels, and there was water to wash his feet and the feet of the men who were with him.   WORD 3 In the course of time Cain brought to the Lord an offering of the fruit of the ground, 4 and Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and his offering, 5 but for Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell. GEN 4:3-5 In this passage, we see Cain and his younger brother, Abel, giving their offering to God. They knew that they were giving an offering to the Almighty God who created everything, and that giving an offering meant honoring him and thanking him for his blessing. Since Cain worked the ground , he brought the fruit of the ground as an offering. On the other hand, Abel, a keeper of sheep , brought the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions .
